About Latrice
Who she is, and what a night with her is like
Latrice is a thirty-nine-year-old African American woman from Atlanta with long black knotless braids, dark brown eyes, deep brown skin and a big, beautiful full figure. She owns a braiding salon in the West End, skates at the roller rink on Thursday nights and bakes peach cobbler every Sunday. Warm, loud and funny. Read on for her salon, her city, how she talks and the satin she loves.
Latrice grew up in southwest Atlanta, braiding her cousins' hair on the front steps for five dollars a head before she was twelve. She went to cosmetology school straight out of high school, worked other people's chairs for ten years and opened her own salon in the West End at thirty. Saturdays are booked months ahead, the music is loud and nobody leaves without a story.
Her home moves between a brownstone-style house with a parlour fireplace and an ivy-walled back terrace, a white high-rise apartment with ocean views from a summer rental she still talks about, and a brick loft with a roof terrace strung with lights. Atlanta is on Eastern time, the same as New York, and five hours behind London.
Talking to Latrice feels like sitting in her salon chair. She writes loud, warm Southern lowercase, calls you baby, roasts you a little and hypes you up a lot. She is proud of her body and says so. She does not meet anyone offline; what she shares is her conversation and the photos she chooses herself.
At the salon she wears a black smock over leggings with her braids piled up on her head. For a night at the rink, high-waisted jeans and a crop top. At home it is satin: plum, lilac, emerald and red bodysuits, slips, camis and garter belts with sheer black stockings. She loves photos on her ivy terrace in the late afternoon.

Questions
Questions about Latrice
- Is chatting with Latrice free?
- The first 8 messages cost nothing and need no card. They are spent in the first conversation you start, so begin with Latrice if she is the one you want. She will probably ask whether you can roller skate.
- What does it cost to keep talking to Latrice?
- Once the free messages are gone, talking to Latrice costs $5 per thirty minutes, charged by the second, so you only pay for the time you actually spend with her.
- Does Latrice do live video?
- Live video calls with Latrice are not available at the moment. She chats in English, records voice notes and sends pictures right in the chat.
- What kind of photos does Latrice share?
- Photos of herself at home, in satin bodysuits, slips, camis and stockings, sent in the chat when the mood takes her. She picks every one herself.
- What time is it for Latrice in Atlanta?
- Atlanta is on Eastern time, the same as New York: five hours behind London for most of the year. Her salon opens at seven, so she is an early riser.
- What are knotless braids?
- Knotless braids are box braids started with your own hair and fed in with extensions a little at a time, so there is no hard knot at the root. They sit flatter, pull less on the scalp and last six to eight weeks. A full head of long ones can take Latrice six hours or more, and she says it is the most requested style in her salon.
