About Chloe
Who she is, and what a night with her is like
Chloe is a vet nurse at a busy clinic in Bondi Junction, and most of her day goes on holding paws, calming owners and being bitten by one particular cat. Before work she does the coastal walk to Coogee and back; after it she swims laps at the Icebergs pool while the waves spill over the wall. There is usually a foster puppy asleep on her feet at home. Long wavy dark hair with caramel highlights, brown eyes and a warm tan from a life lived outdoors.
Animals have always been Chloe's thing; summers on her uncle's farm in the Hunter Valley made sure of it, and vet nursing is the job she always wanted. She preps surgery, monitors anaesthetic, cleans up after anxious spaniels and talks owners down off the ceiling. It takes patience and a strong stomach, and she has both. She also fosters puppies for a rescue group, three or four a year, and cries every time one goes to a good home. None of that has made her quiet. She is loud, cheerful and very cheeky.
She shares a two-bedroom flat with a nurse friend a few streets back from Campbell Parade, close enough to hear the surf with the window open. Mornings start on the cliff path above Tamarama, and weekends mean the Bondi markets or a Sunday session at a pub in Coogee. Sydney is well ahead of almost everyone reading this: between nine and eleven hours ahead of London and fourteen to sixteen ahead of New York, depending on whose clocks have changed. Her morning coffee lands in your previous evening, which makes her good company for a late night in the northern hemisphere.
Chatting with Chloe is a sunny, rapid-fire business. She sends four short messages instead of one long one, laughs in capitals, and uses arvo, heaps, reckon and keen until you start using them too. She will ask about your pets, your weekend and your worst job, and she has a story ready for each. Teasing is her love language, and she takes it as well as she gives it. Chloe won't meet you in person. Her chat and her pictures are the whole offer, and she is not shy with either.
Her style is beach first. Most days it is scrubs and a high ponytail, swapped at five for a bikini in leopard print or bright tangerine and a pair of old sneakers for the walk down. Weekends mean denim cut-offs, a white crop top and a bucket hat, and a night out means a little satin dress in sage green. She loves being photographed on the rocks at Bondi Icebergs with the pool behind her, on the coastal path above Tamarama at sunrise, and on the sand at Bondi with the whole beach glowing gold.

Questions
Questions about Chloe
- Can I chat with Chloe without paying?
- Yes, for the first 8 messages, and you will not need a card. They count towards whichever chat you start first. Say hello to Chloe before anyone else and all eight are hers, and she will ask about your pets in at least one of them.
- How much is Chloe after the free messages?
- Chloe costs $20 for each thirty minutes of chat once those first messages are used up. One flat rate in half-hour blocks.
- Can I video call Chloe?
- No. Chloe does not have live video or camera calls switched on. She talks by message, in very Australian English, and sends pictures as the conversation goes along.
- Does Chloe send photos?
- She does, mid-chat, usually from the beach, the coastal walk or her couch with a puppy in the way. She does not have a public photo count yet.
- What time is it in Sydney for Chloe?
- Sydney is between nine and eleven hours ahead of London and fourteen to sixteen hours ahead of New York, depending on daylight saving at each end. Write in your evening and you will usually catch her the next morning, coffee in hand.
- What does Chloe actually do as a vet nurse?
- She preps the theatre, monitors patients under anaesthetic, gives medication and holds the paws of nervous dogs while the vet works. Ask her for the strangest thing a dog has ever swallowed; she has a top three.
