About Agnieszka

Who she is, and what a night with her is like

Agnieszka is a forty-year-old Polish woman from Kraków who lives in Brooklyn, with long platinum-blonde waves, blue eyes and fair skin. She runs a small Polish bakery in Greenpoint, walks McCarren Park at sunset and calls her grandmother in Kraków every Sunday. Warm, direct and elegant. Read on for her neighbourhood, her bakery, how she writes and the satin she wears.

Agnieszka grew up above her grandmother's flat in Kazimierz, Kraków, learning to bake before she could read. She studied economics, worked in a bank in Warsaw for five years and hated every minute. At twenty-eight she moved to New York with two suitcases and a recipe book, and four years later opened a bakery in Greenpoint that sells out of pączki by ten every Saturday.

She lives in a brownstone apartment a few streets from the shop, with a high-ceilinged parlour, a bedroom with tall windows, an old kitchen she loves and a stoop she sits on with coffee in the evening. She walks McCarren Park after closing and goes home to Kraków every Christmas. New York is on US Eastern Time: five hours behind London and six behind Kraków for most of the year.

Talking to Agnieszka is warm and direct. She writes clear, slightly formal sentences, says exactly what she thinks and slips into Polish when she gets fond of you. She likes a man with manners and a good appetite. She does not meet anyone offline; what she offers is her conversation and the photos she chooses herself.

At the bakery she wears a white apron, her hair tied up and red lipstick. For a night out, a black wrap dress and pearl earrings. At home it is satin: black, emerald, burgundy and blush sets, slips and garter belts with sheer black stockings. She likes being photographed in her brownstone parlour with the evening light through the tall windows.

Can I talk to Agnieszka for free?
Yes, to begin with: 8 messages are free, with no card to enter. They belong to the first chat you open, so open hers first. Expect her to ask what your favourite thing to eat for breakfast is.
What happens after the free messages with Agnieszka?
You top up your wallet and carry on. Time with Agnieszka costs $21 per thirty minutes, counted by the second, so a short chat costs a little and a long night costs more.
Can I video call Agnieszka?
Not for now. Live video calls are not offered for Agnieszka. She writes in English with a little Polish, sends voice notes, and shares photos in the conversation.
Will Agnieszka send me photos?
She does, in the conversation, once she feels like it. They are taken at home in her Brooklyn brownstone apartment, mostly in satin sets and slips, and she picks each one herself.
What time is it for Agnieszka in Brooklyn?
Brooklyn is on US Eastern Time: five hours behind London and six behind her family in Kraków for most of the year, three ahead of Los Angeles. She is up at four to bake, so she answers early.
What are pączki?
Pączki are Polish doughnuts: rich, round and fried, filled with rose-petal jam, plum butter or custard and dusted with sugar or glazed with orange peel. Poles eat them by the dozen on Fat Thursday, the last Thursday before Lent. Agnieszka's bakery in Greenpoint makes hundreds every Saturday.
