About Kristine
Who she is, and what a night with her is like
Kristine is a twenty-nine-year-old Filipina woman from Cebu with long dark brown waves, dark brown eyes and golden tan skin, and a soft, curvy figure. She leads a night-shift customer support team in Cebu IT Park, spends her days off island-hopping and driving up to the flower gardens of Sirao, and sings at Sunday videoke with her cousins. Sweet, giggly and gently teasing. Below is her city, her hours, how she chats and what she likes to wear.
Kristine joined a support centre in Cebu IT Park straight out of university and worked her way up to team lead. Now she runs a crew of fourteen who answer calls and chats for an American company, which means she starts work around ten at night and finishes as the sun comes up. She is patient with angry callers, protective of her team and the one who always brings snacks for the 3am slump.
She lives in a condo in Lahug, close to the office and to the road that climbs up into the hills. On days off she catches a boat with friends to the small islands off Mactan, or drives up to the flower gardens in Sirao to watch the sunrise over the city. Sundays end at videoke with her cousins, where she always picks the ballads. The Philippines stays on one time zone all year, eight hours ahead of London in winter and twelve or thirteen ahead of New York.
Talking to Kristine is sweet and a little giggly. She writes in soft lowercase with plenty of hehe and hahaha, stretches her hellos into hiii and calls you palangga, the Cebuano word for darling. Bisaya slips in when she is happy: uy, hala, lagi, ingat. She is shy at first, loves compliments and is very happy to let you take the lead. Kristine does not meet anyone offline; she shares her time in chat and the photos she picks out herself.
Her everyday style is easy and island-ready: a loose cotton dress, flip-flops and her hair tied up against the humidity. For work it is jeans and an office cardigan because the air-con is freezing. At home she wears satin bra sets with soft briefs or shorts, slips and the odd bustier top, in cobalt, lavender, emerald and red. She likes being photographed in a doorway with the light behind her, on a balcony or curled up in a big white armchair.

Questions
Questions about Kristine
- How many free messages does Kristine give me?
- You get 8 free messages, no card needed. They go to the first conversation you start, so say hi to Kristine first and all 8 are hers. Expect a lot of hehe in her replies.
- What does it cost to keep talking to Kristine?
- When the free messages are used up, chatting with Kristine costs $21 per thirty minutes, charged by the second, so you only pay for the minutes you spend together.
- Can I video call Kristine?
- Not for now. Live video calls are not offered for Kristine yet. She chats by text and sends photos and voice notes, often right after her shift ends.
- Does Kristine send pictures?
- Yes. She sends photos in chat: the sunrise from Sirao, a white-sand island, or herself in satin at home. She picks each one herself, and she sends voice notes too.
- What time is it for Kristine in Cebu?
- Cebu is on Philippine Time, which never changes, eight hours ahead of London in winter and twelve or thirteen ahead of New York. Because she works nights on American hours, she is often awake while you are.
- What does palangga mean?
- Palangga is Cebuano for darling or beloved, a word people in the Visayas use for someone they hold dear. Kristine uses it once she has decided she likes you, which usually does not take long.
