Five women from the Dalmatian coast, and this is the most outdoor-weighted set on the site. Croatian women returns travel photography almost everywhere else; this is the same coastline with somebody living on it rather than visiting, shot mostly in daylight nobody has softened.

About this set

Croatian model photos

Bikinis account for a third of the frames, higher than any other heritage page here, and the reason is the light rather than the wardrobe. Adriatic sun at the wrong hour is a hard, contrast-heavy source that most sets avoid. Here it is used straight, so shadow falls sharp under the collarbone and the sea behind goes almost black by comparison.

Green runs through everything — a greenhouse, a vineyard at golden hour, olive ground, and separately a run of emerald satin indoors. It is the one colour tying the coastal frames to the interior ones, and it is why the page does not read as two unrelated shoots stapled together.

Where it moves inside it goes cold rather than warm: rain on a porch, a storm watched from under a terrace roof, snow at a chalet. That is the opposite instinct to the Serbian set, and the quickest way to tell these two pages apart at a glance.
